2. My Why

very powerful realization that helped me build SheShed was understanding that, because of trauma, we can sometimes be the problem in our relationships. For a long time, I was carrying unhealed wounds that made me toxic in ways I didn’t even recognize. I didn’t know how to love people the right way. I didn’t know how to care for them or give them what they needed because I wasn’t equipped to do it at the time.

Healing forced me to take accountability. It showed me that I couldn’t keep blaming the world for my pain I had to actively work on myself if I wanted to have better relationships and a better life. I had to learn how to love in a way that wasn’t rooted in fear, control, or survival. I had to become the person I needed when I was younger.

SheShed is not just about healing from what others have done to us, it’s also about recognizing The ways we need to grow so we don’t repeat the same cycles it’s about taking control of our pain and allowed it to help us create something beautiful instead of turning us into humans with no empathy!
